Several People in rural communities get so engrossed with farms, markets and work leaving no time for their health, a lot more can’t either afford health services or have access to them.

The growing burden of mortality and morbidity in our communities can be reduced if more people can access medical services and have timely regular medical checkups. As an organization, we aim to improve the health quality of people in our communities, especially by bringing health services within their midst, for access and at no cost. 

In keeping with our vision, we partnership with the Medical Director DR AJAGUNNA A.A. BMC,ILERO and health providers of BMC(Baptist Medical Center, Ilero)and our team was able to visit the community of Ilero in Oyo State on the 12th of February, 2022 having learnt of their need, we provided a free medical outreach to the people of the community, we met with the community ruler, the King to first establish our presence on the land sequel to being previously informed, he heartily welcomed us and the people of the community also gave us a warm reception.

Over 100 people including women and children benefited from and had access to: 

• Free Tests
• Free Consultation with skilled Health care workers
• Free Drugs for Treatments after Diagnosis

Financially, we spent about two hundred and nine thousand, five hundred nairas only (209,500) for drugs, excluding transportation costs and other expenses. The list of drugs bought has been compiled in a report and available for download( Kindly make an hyperlink here with the report I sent earlier)

However, we are grateful for the opportunity to impact in any way we can and we are looking forward to doing much more.
