In keeping with the vision of the organization, for March 2022, and in partnership with Gideon’s Outreach, Gracedcicle Health Initiative held another free medical outreach which was held at Eyenkorin in Kwara state on the 26th of March 2022, hence, referred to as ‘Eyenkorin Free Medical Outreach’. 

Eyenkorin is situated on the outskirts of its state capital and has also been referred to as a fast-growing commercial and residential environment, with our team travelling down from Friday, 25th March 2022. The events of the day started with the registration of participants in which we had over 100 beneficiaries followed by health education and an awareness session on general health tips, the importance of nutrition for older people, reducing the risk of hypertension, diabetes as well as its management. 

Medical tests such as blood pressure checks, blood sugar levels, rapid malaria tests were carried out, followed by consultations with health practitioners and drugs were also provided at no cost to all participants. For cases whereby referral and follow up were required, obstetrics and gynaecological cases were referred to Dr Aisha Munammed mother and child hospital Eyenkorin while other cases were referred to Kwara State Hospital. 

To crown the outreach, Oasis of Love provided relief materials that were distributed to all beneficiaries. Records of our finances have been properly documented and available for download (make a hyperlink).
